My outdoor sessions happen in quick 20 minute segments or up to full 90 minute sessions. My favorite time is an hour to an hour and a half before sunset for the dreamiest light. Then depending on time of year, that will adjust the set times we choose for when we get together. These make for the BEST settings for my family and portrait sessions!
I also help with planning your ideas and concepts along with styling should you request this help! I love assisting clients in the planning process (location and outfits) so it alleviates any stress or uncertainty they might have leading up to photoshoot day.
My photo sessions are about connecting with one another. This is all about YOU. Your family. The closest people in your life. I want to make you feel special as well as having no distractions and focusing on one another so we can document the now and make memories through the lens. I want you to look back a year, 5 years, SEVERAL years from now and see how you guys looked, little body language details, My goal is to catch those authentic moments!! I like to share prompts and guide you during our shoot to see real time interactions take place. As a mom of 5, I'm used to crazy, so let's have a crazy, real time together! :)
I provide a stress free and fun experience for my families so we can create in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. Are your children energetic? Let's play and see them for how they are! This will allow for them to be comfortable and natural and in the moment.
My maternity sessions are empowering and intimate. I understand the unique beauty each mama embodies during this transformative time, along with how emotional it is preparing for your sweet baby to arrive. My newborn and child portraits are creative and timeless. I can capture the essence of their early stages of life so you can cherish those memories for years to come as they grow up. I have experience working with infants and children and I can ensure you their comfort and safety during our time together.

1.) Is there a retainer to book?

Yes, all sessions require a $150 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract in order to hold your date and session time. The remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. Contract and invoices will be signed and paid electronically.
Your images will be delivered via an online gallery where you will be able to download high-resolution images meant for printing and sharing.
2.) How are my photos delivered?
Absolutely!! YES! This is part of your experince that I want to make as easy and smooth as possible! We can create a mood and vision board and go over what you have in your mind that you'd like to manifest into being your photoshoot!
5.) Will you help me with wardrobe and location?
YES! I WANT you to print them and hang them all over your home! I hear and see too often, sessions getting deleted by accident off the computer and then everything is GONE and not able to be enjoyed. You will receive a print release so you may print at any lab of your choice. You can also print directly through your online gallery through my professional lab.

Client closet:
INVESTMENT
Currently I have a small curated client closet of gowns for my mamas to have access to - to minimize the extra energy going into having to find a dress for their shoots. Several also work wonderfully even if you're NOT pregnant and can be worn for family sessions. I am actively growing this extra area for my clients so I will have regular updates as new gowns find their new home with my studio. I am also growing this for my newborns for lifestyle sessions.
Styling and Mood boards:
I always find a deep satisfaction in planning out a photoshoot, be it for myself or a client. Choosing a location, setting the mood, finding the perfect color palette, and the vision behind it all. I LOVE sculpting this because I can see the final vision coming together on the day of.
I will work with you to find the perfect layers, textures, colors, and locations to create the best artwork to reflect who you (and your family) are in the now to beautifully display it for everyone to enjoy.
Pinterest and Trello are my go-to's so you can see it all before you. I will walk you through this when we start the process of booking your session. I promise this is A LOT of fun!
